Account Opening Procedures

 

Thank you for your interest in our securities trading services. In order to comply with the relevant rules and regulations of Hong Kong and to expedite your application process, please provide the following supporting documents, sign and complete all our forms in person with us:

Individual Client

  1. Copy of passport/identity card
  2. Copy of proof of address for the last 3 months
  3. Copy of financial proof for the last 3 months bank statement or tax return
  4. Account Opening Questionnaire
  5. Risk Disclosure Statement
  6. Authorisation Letter (for Margin Client only)
  7. Account Opening Form; Account Opening Questionnaire and Risk Disclosure Statement, Privacy Statement Privacy Notice

Corporate Client

  1. Minutes approving the opening of the Securities Dealing Account

    Samples of Minutes of Corporate Resutions: 

    Corporate Cash Account Resolution

    Corporate Margin Account Resolution

  2. Copy of the ID card or passport of all authorised of all signer(s) who is(are) authorized to effect securities trades or dealings in the Account
  3. Copy of Business Registration Certificate
  4. Copy of the Certificate Incorporation
  5. Copy of the Memorandum and Articles of the Association
  6. Latest Annual Return & Document of Directorship and Shareholders
  7. Latest Financial Statement
  8. Account Opening Form; Account Opening Questionnaire and Risk Disclosure Statement, Privacy Statement
  9. Authorisation Letter (for Margin Client only)

By Post:

As required by the SFC Guideline, if you cannot sign the Account Opening Form in person with us, you have to arrange for authentication by an appropriate person to countersign on it, your copy of HKID Card with her full name and title for identity verification purpose. (An appropriate person should be registered person, a Justice of Peace, or a professional person)

OR

You can send the completed and signed Form together with a cheque bearing your signture(s) and pr-printed name on it, the cheque must:

  1. Be drawn on Hong Kong dollar bank account with a licensed bank in Hong Kong
  2. The Account name must show on the cheque and same as your Account Opening Form, bear the same signature
  3. Be issued payable to "Goldride Securities Limited", amount not less than HK$10,000
  4. Be encashed and cleared

The amount will be credited into the client's trading account directly, and the trading account will only be activated until the cheque is cleared.
